It focuses on building secure bonds in couples, families, and individual settings to foster long-term wellness.
Where is Magnus Mental Health located? A: Our office is located in the South Hills at 733 Washington Road, Suite 402, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. We proudly serve the local Mt. Lebanon community and the greater Pittsburgh area with both in-person and virtual sessions.
What specialized services do you provide? A:We specialize in couples therapy, family counseling, and individual support for issues such as anxiety, burnout, and relationship conflict. Our services are designed to help clients navigate complex relational dynamics through a supportive, professional lens.
What to Expect
What happens during the initial consultation? A: Our initial phone consultation is a brief, no-pressure conversation where we discuss your primary concerns and goals for therapy. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions about the Magnus Approach and for us to determine if we are a good fit for your specific needs.
How do I prepare for my first therapy session? A: You don't need to bring anything specific to your first session. We recommend finding a quiet, private space if you are meeting virtually. The first session is primarily about "intake," where we gather your history and begin building a customized treatment plan tailored to your lifestyle.
Is therapy at Magnus Mental Health confidential? A: Yes. Protecting your privacy is our top priority. All discussions within our sessions are strictly confidential, with the exception of specific legal requirements related to safety, which we will review together during your intake process.
