Frequently Asked Questions
Therapy
How long should therapy last? A: The best way to determine the length of therapy is by establishing a clear plan with your therapist and inquiring about their approach to therapy. Clients are encouraged to begin with the end in mind, which means that you should always consider how you will know that therapy is done.
How often should sessions occur? A: Typically, clients begin therapy weekly to establish a customized treatment plan. Then, a timeline is determined to accommodate your goals and needs.
What ages do you work with? A: - Individuals (ages 16+) - Couples (ages 18+) - Families (with children ages 12+)
Billing
What are my payment options? A: Payment options include most major debit and credit cards as well as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Please note that payment is due in full at the time of service.
Do you accept insurance? A: I am currently in-network with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Additionally, clients paying out-of-pocket may be eligible to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider. Contact your plan administrator to determine eligibility for reimbursement. For insurance plans that offer reimbursement, superbills can be provided.
What is your cancellation policy? A: All sessions must be cancelled by phone at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Late cancellations and missed sessions without prior notice will result in a no-show fee. This fee is discussed during the intake process.

I am a mandated reporter because of my role as a mental health provider.
